Arthritis, muscle aches, and chronic pain can disrupt our lives inhibiting our ability to move or even sleep. It's a vicious cycle as the more we don't move, the stiffer our joints get and the weaker our muscles. Analgesics, drugs that provide pain relief, are generally safe but long-term use can cause adverse side effects and in the case of stronger drugs like opioids, addiction. That's why more adults are looking for natural solutions to find relief and get back to doing what they love.
The natural resins of frankincense and myrrh have been used since ancient times as incense for ceremonies and in Ayurvedic and Chinese medicine to reduce inflammation and promote circulation. Their combination creates a better therapeutic effect than when either of the individual oils is used by themselves. We call this synergy. Our Frankincense & Myrrh Essential Oil Roll-on absorbs quickly to reduce swelling, throbbing, and tingling especially in the hands and feet. This deep, earthy blend includes a touch of patchouli to enhance and balance the inherent, calming aromatherapy.
Frankincense essential oil is steam distilled from resin extracted from the Boswellia tree. We offer roll-ons pre-diluted with organic fractionated coconut oil for safe application to the skin from two different species Boswellia carterii (sacra) and Boswellia serrata. The differences are subtle. Both are used to relieve swelling and pain associated with inflammation, promote relaxation, and for skin care to lift and tighten. Where they grow and are sourced are different: Somalia (carterii) and India (serrata); and they have slightly different scents. Carterii's smooth and balanced aroma is described as earthy, with a deep soft amber note and highlights of honey, black pepper, and fresh notes of citrus. While serrata has a woody, spicy, and camphorous aroma.
The name says it all. Our signature blend of peppermint, sage, cardamom, and ginger, as with all of our roll-ons, is diluted with an organic carrier oil and packaged in a roller bottle providing a convenient way to reduce muscle tightness and spasms. It cools the skin while warming the body, making it the best pick for post-workout relief. Muscle Relief can also be used for head tension and to help you wake up and feel energized.
