Back by popular demand and reformulated to fit your organic lifestyle, we’re proud to introduce our Organic Meditation Blend Roll-on. Once you start to use it regularly, you will find that just getting a smell of the oils will quiet your mind and put you in a meditative state.
Our new meditation blend is perfect for adding to a mindfulness practice. Mindfulness, with its roots in Buddhist meditation, is the act of focusing on the present moment rather than over-processing the past or worrying about the future. Meditations that focus on breathing exercises and scanning the body support staying present and can reduce anxiety and depression as well as lower blood pressure and improve sleep.1 In our last post, Defining Self Care, we included a simple breathing exercise and a link to our free 10 minute meditation download.
Inhaling the sedative scent of Myrrh, the first ingredient in our Meditation Blend, is known to stabilize emotions, lift negative moods, promote the feeling of being grounded, and encourage the feeling of spiritual awakening. Learn more about the benefits and uses of myrrh essential oil.
Combined with myrrh, the earthy notes of Black Spruce reconnect you to your root chakra. The root or base chakra forms the foundation for our feelings of safety and support. Connecting with your higher self and trusting in the process, surprisingly, help you to worry less and provide stability. It gives you permission to not have all the answers, and instead relax into a state of being, correcting imbalances in the root chakra.2 Our pre-diluted Meditation roll-on helps still the mind so you can access these higher experiences in your meditations and daily life. Apply to the wrists, temples, or tip of the nose to access these benefits during your next practice.

May is Mental Health Awareness Month and if there’s one thing you hear more than anything it’s how important self-care is to overall wellbeing. What does that mean? Just as every person is an individual, what feeds our soul and nourishes our spirit—and what we need at this moment in our life—looks very different for each person and may change throughout our lives. The challenge is finding and creating habits that fit best with your lifestyle. The great news is that establishing one good habit feeds another. For example, if you exercise more, you are more likely to get better sleep, which will in turn help to clear your mind and regain your focus.
